We understand it’s a difficult time financially for many people and we want to remind you that we’re here with free, confidential help from our Moneywise team.
This year we celebrate 10 years since the launch of Moneywise. Over that time our Moneywise team has helped hundreds of residents with benefit claims, grant applications, Council hardship payments, and budgeting advice.
Our Moneywise team can help you with:
- Prioritising outgoings
- Debt advice to help you if you’re faced with overwhelming debt
- Using comparison sites to get better deals on utilities
- Understanding your spending and suggesting ways to reduce outgoings
Are you getting everything you’re entitled to?
Our Moneywise team is here to help you check that the benefits you’re getting are correct and that you’re getting everything you’re entitled to.
Have you received your government cost of living payment? If you’re on means tested benefits, Universal Credit, Income Related Employment and Support Allowance, Income-Based Jobseeker’s Allowance, Income Support, Child Tax Credit, Working Tax Credit or Pension Credit, you maybe entitled to up to three cost of living payments from the government. If you’re unsure, get in touch and we can help.
Food banks
If you’re struggling and unable to afford food then please get in touch as we hold vouchers for the local food banks in your area.
Customer support fund
Our customer support fund helps Raven customers who are struggling financially and have no other sources of help.
We’ve invested more money in our customer support fund to support you if you’re struggling to pay for new appliances, essential furniture, debts and other unexpected bills.
Applications must be made by a Raven team member, this could be someone from our Moneywise team or your tenancy or income officer, for example.
