Our pledge to tackle anti-social behaviour

Raven has signed a pledge to show our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour.

Dealing with anti-social behaviour involves input from a number of different organisations, including housing providers, councils, the police, mediation and support services. At Raven, we’re committed to playing our part, which includes promoting the ‘Community Trigger’. The trigger, which enables communities and victims to get anti-social behaviour complaints reviewed and brings agencies together to solve issues.

The scheme can be used if you have reported an incident to us, the police or the council three or more times in a six month period and the problem is still occurring. Each incident must have been reported within a month of it happening.

Our pledge:

  1. Promote awareness by actively encouraging customers to use the Community Trigger.
  2. Ensure we are legally compliant and embracing the spirit of the scheme.
  3. Publicise it so the most vulnerable people know what it is and how to use it.
  4. Embrace its full potential by continually reviewing and learning.
  5. Use Community Trigger review meetings to work together to find solutions to end anti-social behaviour.
  6. Use the Community Trigger to put victims first and deter offenders
  7. Follow the Surrey Partnership Framework for Community Triggers.
